What is the Roof Top Solar Scheme?
The Botswana Roof Top Solar (RTS) Scheme provides residential and commercial clients with the ability to install grid-tied and hybrid solar systems and feed power back into the grid. The surplus energy that is fed back into the grid, BPC will off-set with your energy bill. Further information can be found on the Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA) website.
Why should I join?
If you are interested in a grid-tied or hybrid system, it is required that the system is registered and approved with BPC. Due to the net-metering arrangement with BPC your return on investment also increases and your payback decreases.
How to apply?
Eco Solar currently has numerous clients that are registered with BPC. If you choose Eco Solar for your installation, our services also include applications to BPC for the Roof Top Scheme.
